Smart University Project

UET Peshawar has successfully deployed eduroam (education roaming is an international roaming service for users in research, higher education and further education) which is an international wireless internet access service developed for the research and education community at selected HEI's. This service has been tested and made operational at foreign universities as well. Registered users can access the wireless internet at all eduroam enabled sites nationally and internationally.

The "UET Peshawar Smart University" Wi-Fi requires all faculty/staff to be authenticated using Active Directory credentials. AD accounts have been created; you can access the network using your account. Username is same as the email ID provided to IT Centre/CMS with extension uetp.edu.pk (e.g: abc@uetp.edu.pk where abc is your email id) for all faculty/staff members.
First Login to Desktop/Laptop device to change Default password.
Password must meet the system complexity criteria i.e. combination of alphabets, digits and special characters.

- Encryption Type: 802.1x EAP

- EAP Method: PEAP

- Phase2 Authentication: MSCHAPv2
